"Black Gold"

Last week, i went to morning market, i saw this "black gold", first glance at it, it look like mangoes to me, but how come so big mangoes? I ask the vege seller, what is it, he told me it is "black gold" from Bidor, hardly got. I asked, "is it sweet?" because i don't take sour stuff, he said "yea, very very sweet" but looking at the green skin it look sourish to me.
The vege seller told me, just keep it out for a day, don't put in fridge then can eat it the next day. I still find it funny, by looking at that big mangoes!! It cost me RM9 for just one mangoes. Sat, Elaine was at my house to pick up something, i show her the mangoes, i ask her whether she know what is it or not. She and her hub said "mangoes lo!!" hahahhahah To me, it still look like vege or something that fall under "cucumber" group.

Report review day

Yesterday while sending my boys to kindy, their class teacher told me, she would like to see me today and do the report review for my two boys on the half year progress. I'm a bit worried and excited also, this is the first time i'm going to sit down with the teacher to talk about my sons progress in school. Although, sometime she see me in the morning she will do some comment on my sons.
I didn't tell my boys i will go to their school today to see their teacher. This morning, while bring them into the class, i take off my shoe and follow them in, two of them got a shock and keep ask me "why mummy come to my school??" Then two of them keep smilling and take out their breakfast that i prepare for them and put their bags in the "pigeon hole" then walk to the table and sit there to have their breakfast. hahahhahahhahahhaha This is the first time i see my boys behave so well and suddenly they look so big boys. They sit there quietly eat their breakfast and on off give me a sheepish smile, while i still wait for my turn to see the teacher.
Not long after, it's my turn, i told my boys i'm going to see their teacher, Cruz told me he want to follow i said cannot. In the room, first thing the teacher told me is "your boys are very interesting". I know what she means, because my boys like to "play/switch" their character. Sometime the teacher will tell me Cruz's reading is good, but today she told me, Fearles is good at reading.
Overall, teacher said two of them are doing quite well, but they are very PLAYFUL! Fearles always cannot concentrate or only live in his own world, not "social" enough. Everytime got any games, he always just stand aside and wait for teacher to call him, on the other hand, Cruz is the "social bee" anything he also participate and very talkative. When teacher teach them homework, he think of/recall something that he do overweekend or what he saw, he will keep telling the teacher, till the teacher have to stop him. o_o . On the reading part, Cruz tend to forget quite easily, after read to him few times, point him the same word again, he go blank. Two of them are reading Peter and Jane Book 2A. Writting motor skill getting better, now can hold the pencil more proper compare to the first time when i teach them homework. Teacher did tell me also, she is strict, that's why when my boys not concentrate or "day dream" or naughty, she will smack their hand, she said sometime my boys cried. I told her, i understand ( at least teacher do tell me when my boys naughty or not behave, she will use ruler to smack their hands), but so far my boys didn't tell me their teacher beat them wor? hahahahhahaha
Quite a quick report review, phew! Lucky nothing major. :) After i come out from the room, i bid bye bye to my boys and told them i go to work, you know what is their reaction? No bye bye from them to me, i already sense something not right, i know they are going to cry for me again!!! How true, before i can walk out from the class, two of them hold my legs and two of them CRIED together!!!! Adoi!!!! Till the teachers have to pull them away from me. :(

49 months!

Time flies, today is my boys 49 months old, exactly one month after their 4th birthday. What they have up to? They still the same, Cruz become more chatty, using a lot new words and new sentences, which sometime do crack me up.
I have yet to sent them to any tuition class, music class or any extra class, which i wanted to, but no one can sent and pick them up, so it's a problem. Now, i am thinking maybe i should sent them to those extra class in the weekend, at least i can sent them. My boys are into music ( i think so) because on off i can see them playing with their cousin sisters piano and before their birthday, Cruz keep asking me to buy "Guitar" for him. One of the day, while i get something from the sundry shop, i saw there is one "Toy Guitar", i actually bought it and give it as their 4th birthday presents. hahahhahahah . It's look so real, and somemore with a plastic bag cover to protect the guitar and come with a string to sling it at the shoulder. When i give my boys the guitar, Cruz is the most happy, he got the style, he can play it like real or can i said he got the "gaya". The way he hold the guitar and sometime with one leg up on the chair like a rock star. Cruz even request his cousin brother to bring his violin down and play together with him!! On the other hand, Fearles ask me "why mummy you never buy me drum, i want drum". Yes, i get him a toy drum after that, somemore it come with spiderman picture on the drum, he is happy with it. hahhahahahhahhahahah

the guitar. Not bad huh? hahahhahah
They still got homework twice a week, handwritting getting better and now Cruz without me "nagging" at him, he will finish his homework. Kor kor Fearles sometime will finish ( i doubt Cruz do for him?) sometime still no, need me to sit beside him and see him write. I'm glad that, for english, they wrote the sentence, they can read to me what they write. :) Fearles quite good on writting word on the line, Cruz a bit "not good" at it. Always one word it become 4 or 5 seperate alphabets, so i have to tell him, write/join the alphabets together, "they" scare if you seperate them, so far it work.

Brother's love?

Last night, when i reached home after my gym, before i can put down my bags and take off my shoe, i got so many reporters ( my boys's cousin sisters) reporting to me, Fearles didn't do his homework and Cruz help him to finish all his homework!!
I got a shock and i was like "huh? Cruz help his brother doing the homework???" Then i ask Cruz, did he help Fearles doing the homework, he said "yes, Fearles don't want to do, i help him to do" *pengsan*
After i had my dinner, i told Fearles, go upstair and bring his homework down and show it to me, he know something wrong, he give me a kind a look then walk slowly to get his homework. I open the exercise book and i erase all the numbers and i ask Fearles to do it himself. Actually, i can see that is Cruz handwritting, Fearles handwritting is very neat and tidy and Cruz one is big and messy!! hahahhahahha
As a punishment, Fearles sit there doing his homework, and Cruz happily playing. Cruz want to "keepo", he bring his homework and show me also and i just double check and make sure he finish it & wrote it nicely. I give Cruz a big "warning", no more helping Fearles doing homework, other things can help but not homework, Fearles have to do himself. While watching Fearles doing his writting, i also give him a lecture, make sure he don't be lazy, must do his homework, otherwise no TV for him. :(

Our weekend - Fishing & Look Out Point @ Hulu Langat

Title said it all, we went for a so called "fishing trip" over the weekend. At first hub and his good buddy said go to Hulu Langat for fishing (i'm not sure, why suddenly he is into fishing), after that hub suggest why not go to his family farm at Semenyih, there is two big ponds, but we are not sure is there anymore fish, since no one staying there, just got one worker taking care the place. We still proceed and decide to go Semenyih, parent in law's "farm".
We leave the house at 2pm in the afternoon, after meet up with hub's good buddy then go to Semenyih. I have not been to Semenyih and the "farm" for at least 5-7 years!! It change so much!! Even Semenyih town had change so much, with more shop and even got tesco and a nice KFC and Pizza outlet!! Can see around the "farm" also got a lot houses already, very much develope but the road to our farm, it's narrow and the grass is very long, if didn't see carefully we nearly cannot see the road to turn in.
After reach the place, my boys so "kampung" never see the ponds before, they got excited, and cannot wait their daddy to bring them for fishing. The slope at the pond side is quite steep, so i just let them see and not fishing. When the two men are fishing, me and hub buddy's wife and kids and maids sitting at the car porch enjoying our junk foods, drinks and rambutans!! Now is rambutans season, i can see a lot rambutans on the tree, get the worker to pluck two big bags for us to eat. It's towards evening, so the weather just nice, not too hot, but...there is a lot mosquitoes!!!!!! Even thought we spray mosquitoes repullent, but there is still mosquitoes attack us!! Not too long later, it start rain, two men didn't give up, holding the umbrella and continue fishing, while we and the kids chatting and playing at the car porch.

Final result is ----------------------------------------> THERE IS NO FISH AT ALL!!! hahahhahahahhahahhahahahhahahahah. We refresh ourself and shower the kids at the house and decide to leave and go for dinner. Hub's buddy Vincent, he bring us to Hulu Langat look out point, i had heard so much about this place but never been there. We drive those short cut from Semenyih and all the way to Ampang!!! Far lei!! It took us about 35 mins to reach there.
Very nice place, maybe it just after rain, so the weather a bit cool and can feel some wind. Very crowded place, most patrons are those youngster and some are with family too. Very unique place with nice view too. We are lucky to get a table, can see the KL night view. We went to Gasoline, they serve western and steamboat, but we opt for western food. Next time we should try the steamboat, it is really cute, you can sit inside the "small cave" and have steamboat, each cave got one table, some got two, very nice. There is one more fine dining restaurant, Olive and bread, not many people there and i think there is one chinese restaurant there also?? After dinner, Vincent did suggest we walk up a bit further up there is a platform, we can stand there and see the night view, but that time is around 9.45pm, it's quite late, and the next day is the school start, i know my boys sure cannot wake up!! During school holidays, they only wake up at 9am or 10am!!!

After dinner, we cam-whoring a bit, then went back home, actually we took quite a few group pictures but turn out blur. :( Anyway, it's a tired and fruitful day for my two boys! Not forget night before, we brought them to Mid Valley Mega kids, they have a good two hours playing at Mega kid, while me and hub went for some shopping. End up hub got his NEW TOY and me got NOTHING. ahhahahhahah

My Creation - Part 22

This is my last weekend bentos for my boys. Simple one, with not much deco. :P
Have been see some japenese mummy doing some cute Anpanman Bento, i also want to try my version, but my freehand cutting still need more practise, that's y the eyebrow it don't look alike :( the mouth also look weird. hahahhahahahha
Anpanman cheeks and nose i use luncheon meat, then with some meat balls, fish balls and cute "Panda" fish cake, some kiwi and grapes.
this is one of the tee i bought from here, and i look at the Anpanman and do the bento. hahahhahahaha, but only do the face part, no body. :S look alike???
This is the bentos on Sunday, another easy bento, just "wrap" the rice
with seaweed then put a small luncheon meat on top, star shape fish cake and
some meat for the lunch. Fruits- apples, golden kiwi and grapes on the pooh bento box,
a birthday gift for my boys from Misha.
