My Creation - Bentos

Since i got my bento cute things last two weeks, i had been trying to do something and "explore" & experience with the mould, cutter. First i been so "lulu" i use the bread mould to cut the bread out, but i only manage to get the shape, but i cannot get the mickey or minnie or pooh face on the bread, i was wondering, why other mommies can lei? After few times trying, there is one night i think maybe i should put the mickey face on the bread and press it instead of facing up. Tada!! I got it correct, that is how "lulu/stupid" i am.

I don't need to pack any rice for my sons to bring to school, so every morning, i just prepare something light and simple for their breakfast. So far so good, they like to see what i'm preparing for them daily.

Here i present my very first few bentos, some are just too simple, so i don't take picture............

This is some pre-pack swiss roll and some milk and coco crunch

Tiger biscuit with strawberry yoghurt , banana, grapes and corn flakes.

pandan sponge cake, i don't want it look so normal/plain, i use mickey cutter to cut it
as mickey shape sponge cake, grapes, banana and milk stars.

This is the bento lunch i prepare for my sons on last Sunday.
When i "present" them this bento lunch, two of them got "shock",
keep looking at the lunch, must be wondering what happen to their mummy!
Normally i will give them mixed rice (mixed the meat and sauce and the rice together)
I know it not look so delicious, and no vegetables for deco! My sons don't eat brocolli, carrots
and tomatoes, so that's why my bento look so plain and not colorful! hahahhahaha
This lunch bento got sweet and sour meat, some nuggets, as for Cruz got extra anchovies for him,
he just love anchovies. Fruits and soup.

it's amazing what a cookie cutter can do to change the appearance of food! I'm going to start bento-ing soon....but it looks time consuming though

Now with 'beautified' food, u can mix some veges in. Maybe the boys wud love them, hopefully. :)
