Hong Kong Trip - Part 1

I am back from my holidays, holidays always end fast, don't you think so? I still "mid recover" from my tireness and last two days busy clearing some of my work. Now only got time to write about my trip.

Thanks for all the wishes on my previous post, all of us enjoy our holidays beside than we walk a lot till my foot got blister!

Our flight to HK was the evening flight, morning i still go to work for 1/2 day and two boys still goes to school, at least they don't skip school so many days. Reached home, saw my boys got a lot homework need to finish, i asked them to do homework while i do my last packing, knowing our flight back only on Sunday evening, that will be too late to do their homework.

Taking train to KLIA..

Since we can check in our luggage at KL Sentral, it is a breeze for us, no need to bring two big luggages to airport and we had ample of time to kill at KLIA. We went for an early dinner @ one of the cafe, hub was having nasi lemak and coke, Cruz also want to drink coke. When he drink , he look at the can and said this to us with a serious face, " that uncle don't know how to draw coke, you see why he draw like this??" Me and hub look at him and took up the coke and see, the centre picture of the bottle a bit visible, so Cruz is complaining the person who design this don't know how to draw!! We had a good laugh and took this picture! Now Cruz is in a stage that, he will make "serious comment" and ask non stop "why" and when you give him answer that will lead him to another question to ask, which is never ending!!!!

look at the bottle picture in the centre..above the halal logo..

We took Cathay this time, since i grab the good deal, just that it's an evening flight. Food nothing to shout about, i still prefer MAS, but travel with Cathay, they are good to kids, got nice goodies bag for the kids. My boys entertain themselve with the cartoon channel on the TV, that keep them occupied. Flight touch down on time @ 9.30pm, lucky go through immigration not so long queue compare to last year.

child meal

goodies bag for the boys..

after taking MTR from airport then took the hotel bus transfer, by the time reached our hotel was 23.07pm!!!

this is the same hotel we stayed last year.

same type of room, this time we request for twin bed instead of the king size bed, their king size bed just like queen bed, small for four of us. At least twin bed me and hub can sleep with one of the boys.

After settle our luggages in the room, we went out for a quick and late supper. Lucky around our hotel, there is a lot "char chan teng". We choose one, we think is a new one, last year we didn't see it, we went in and try. I want cantonese noodles, hub order fried rice and i order some sandwiches for sharing with the boys too. When they serve my cantonese noodles, i look at it, i don't feel like eating it, noodles in white and got a funny smell, even Cruz said "mummy, i don't want, it is not nice. :(" Big plate of noodles, cannot waste it, so i ask for some soya sauce to add it in, at least taste still "ok" a bit, but i cannot finish it.

hub's fried rice, taste ok.

my plate of cantonese flat noodles, so pale color. :S
After the quick supper, went back to hotel, shower the boys and put them to bed, i was dead tired too, we all sleep and prepare for the second day itinerary.
continue............

Nothing beats coming back to Sibu for the food... The fried rice looked like homecooked...and the Cantonese-fried - same as in KL, right? Cannot beat Foochow-fried! Hahahaha!!!
