You know how to make pancake?

One of the night while my boys were watching their cartoon "Agent Oso" in TV, and i was doing something on the computer.

Suddenly Fearles asked.......

Fearles: Mummy, you know how to make pancake?

Mummy: *pause and look at him* Pancake? Why pancake? You want to eat pancake?

Fearles: ya, i love pancake

Overheard "Agent Oso" in TV teaching the kids how to make pancake, step 1, step 2, step 3...that is how suddenly it cross Fearles mind to ask me about pancake.

Mummy: you want pancake?

Fearles: You know how to make?

Mummy: hahahahhahahhahahaha, no need to make, we can just buy it!!!!!!

Tada..............................................

Boys, your mummy not superwoman or supermum, anything can make or bake. Sometime just go by the easy way, go to supermarket and buy the ready made . *blek*

Ha..first time sees mini pancake ready from Kellogg's...very cute. Hmm, will get one to try out. My girl loves pancakes too and likes to eat pancake with syrups.

ahhh..the minis are cute :D do they taste good? Ashley wants me to make from scratch cos she wants to break the egg and help me to whisk it :))

Hahahaha!! This is expensive pancake!! We used to buy pancake mix but now RM16 per box so don't buy anymore. I used to make pancakes as a kid & had the simplest recipe : 1 large egg with 4 tablespoons of flour. Nothing else, then leave the tasting for the pancake toppings!

Hehehe...I would have brought them to McD breakfast. :)

Not the same, even if using pancake mix in boxes...all not nice. My missus makes VERY nice pancakes. My daughter loves her pancakes so much!...But have to wait for her to be in the mood. Years now...still no mood yet, not even when daughter was home! Sobs!!!!!

Claire: Convenient and fast. LOL!

Pete: Aiseh, "big cook" of course said easy lei, to me it quite a lot of work to do. Maybe i should check out your blog and get the recipe and try out one day. :)

Inspired Momx1: hahahhaha, my boys love pancake too, so the other day i saw this at supermarket so i just bought it. Easy. :)

mommy to chumsy: taste quite good lei, i bought few boxes already. Since i don't know how to do pancake, so i buy the ready one. Easier. At least you got one helper, Ashley to help you, if my boys, i think it will be more cleaning for me if i have to do from scratch together with them.

mamapumpkin: Yes, expensive. :( But i cannot find any other brand wor and not every place also sell this lei. Oh, your recipe sound easy, just eggs and 4 tablespoons of flour??? Maybe i should check out this. :) Thanks for sharing.

STP: Ya, my friend told me use pancake premix taste not nice, that's why instead of i am doing it, i buy it easier. Wow!! Mrs Wee can makes very nice pancakes, mind to share the recipe?? You hint hint to her la, said you feel like to eat pancakes. hehehhehe

Not sure why some of the comments i cannot see it here, but i can see it in my e mail. :(

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LittleLamb: this is the ready one, keep in freezer, when want to eat just defrost and put in toaster and toast it then can add some maple syrup on top, very easy. :)
Shenny's mommy: receive your two comments. :) Not many places sell this ready made pancake, i only see it at Bangsar Village Grocery, mini sizes, kids easy to eat. After i toast it then i will put some maple syrup on top, my boys just love it. One things, it quite expensive, RM16+ per box. :(
Michelle: hehehhe, Mcd only have it during breakfast, if night time my boys like to have some usually this come with handy lo or i will pack some for them to bring to school as tea break snack. :)
IMMomsDaughter: hehehhe, STP is a cute and funny guy, always *sulk sulk sulk* at Mrs Wee. LOL!! Not many supermarket selling, so far i only see it at Bangsar Village Grocery, not sure cold storage or Jusco Supermarket.
Annie, quickly go experiment pancakes. So easy & so yummy. Heat a big blob of butter on pan & experiment with your flour/egg mixture (too much flour, pancake will be rubber; too little flour, you have omelette, haha) - good luck. If u don't wanna eat pancake with toppings, u can also add taste into the pancake mixture so kids can eat straight away without mess, can cut into shapes. Add sugar, or honey or condensed milk. Yummy!
mumy, no need to be superwoman to make pancake leh :D
if u lazy to mix flour yrself, just get premix, just add water/milk & egg & u can play with the dough on the pan.... somethg that mother & sons can PLAY too, hehe.
anyway, i will still buy this if i happen to see it, hahaha
I din know got this type of ready-made pancakes. My son love pancakes too. Recently, i bought the pre-mixed (pandan flavour). It tasted so yucky and artificial. Like eating flavouring only. Seriously not nice! Must try Mamapumkin's receipe. 4 tablespoon flour + egg.
