Beef Noodles @ Soong Kee

If you like beef noodles, you will know Soong Kee at Jalan Tun Siew Sin. It had been there many many years. I know this place because hub use to bring me there for supper during our "dating" time. LOL!!! That time it just a small corner shop with few tables, now they extend and can fit more patrons.

Been there many times, but didn't take any picture, and sometime we go there, cannot find any parking.

We went there again last Saturday, since it's a long weekend, so going to KL area is a breeze , not much traffic, but once we turn in to the road, we can see a lot cars parking at the road side, all are dining at Soong Kee and lucky we manage to find a parking.

And now in front of Soong Kee, there is a stall selling porridge, it's quite famous too, name "Lou Yau Kee" , direct translate will be "old friend stall"? It is selling fast, when we order a bowl, that was the last bowl, and that was only 8.30pm!!

Usually you will see the restaurant quite crowded, i am not sure about day time, normally when we went at night, whether it is weekend or weekday, it's full of people.

if i am not wrong, this is the old signboard, before they extend their shop.

this is mine and my boys - beef meat and beef balls only..

hubs's one is mixed.

this is the noodles, on top of it, the black colour thing is the mince beeef, very yummy!!

Fearles want to have some porridge, so we share this bowl of porridge..Look at the porridge, so so soft!! It's really good!

smallkucing: somewhere near HSBC KL, Bangkok Bank? Around that area. You can see Maybank next to the shop and opposite is RHB Bank. :)

reanaclaire: Oh, did you blog about it?

Inspired Momx1: hahahah, look like this is a "hot" place during courting days huh? LOL! I know there is another one quite nice opposite Petaling Street, not sure is it Ngau Kee. I remember i went there for a bowl of beef noodles, before i go to hospital to deliver my boys! HAHAHHAHAHAH

Little Lamb: yes yes, old road name is Jalan Silang and the entrance is very weird, on the side at the road. I can always see a lot buses pass by!

Bryan and Brandon's Mama: yes, it it very smooth like "silk"! hahaha

mott: maybe last time not so crowded? Now after there is another stall in front of the restaurant, that make more crowded to the restaurant, some might want to have porridge, some might want the beef noodles.

BoeyJoey: ya ya, lot 10 hutong got one stall there. My friend also told me not so nice wor. Still the original shop the best. I went to hutong the next day, but didn't try the beef noodles. :) Stay tune for the next post.

jazzmint: hahahha, this is also your dating eateries place ar? Ya, the porridge stall last time is at the road side, now still at the road side, but they move in front of Soong Kee, so people either can order beef noodles or porridge. Customers can sit inside the shop.

MK mummy: Not sure the Ngau Kee is the one that i know. If yes, the beef noodles not bad too. We are frequent Ngau Kee and Soong Kee for beef noodles.
