Brown and Peach

Lately i had a lot interesting conversation with my boys.

As most of you know, my twin boys, one is fair and one is "tan" since their baby time, my friends use to call them "kopi" and "susu"Last week when i shower them, suddenly Fearles said.......

Fearles: mummy, why i am brown colour and Cruz is peach colour?

Me: *still blur, wondering what he referring, after i only realise he is referring to their skin colour*

Cruz: Yes, you and daddy are brown colour, me and mummy are peach colour.

I really had a good laugh.

After a while, Fearles still not happy he is "brown" colour and he said, "mummy actually i am just light brown colour and not BROWN, my friend xxx in school, he is BROWN (he is indian boy). My boys always refer indian as in brown colour. :S

So now Fearles is happy that he is LIGHT BROWN and not so BROWN. LOL!

There was a joke between a close friend of mine and myself. She asked me eight years ago why her baby boy looked so brown compared to my boy. I then joked, yalorr. because you drank chocolate milk during pregnancy (she couldn't take the taste of pure milk), that's why lor.. :)

Ya...one like father, one like mother - not just the colour, looks also. Tell him for boys, brown better - white just like girl...siao pai thu (white rabbit). And then you will have to see how to pacify Cruz after that... LOL!!

eugene: ahahahha, lucky he still don't know who is Justin Bieber, he just know the "baby baby" song. LOL!

Merryn: actually he drank more coffee i think, when i pregnant with them, i still take a small cup a day. :P

Inspired Momx1: sometime i wonder is that true lei. I actually had soya bean, fresh milk and coffee during my pregnancy. I cannot quit my coffee, i did ask my gynae he said it is ok to take a small cup a day. At that time i do think myself, don't tell me later my boys come out it will be one fair and one darker color, and it is true. I had a good laugh myself.

STP: Oh, i definetly cannot tell Cruz, fair look like a girl, he will get mad with me. hahahhahah. When they are young that time, a lot people mistaken Cruz is a girl. :S

reanaclaire: hahahahhaah, i cannot tell in front of Cruz, later he got "jeles" .

CH Voon: ya, when they start talking and they have their thinking, a lot of times, their statement are so funny and cute.

Pete: hahahhahahah. No need to use colour chart la. Just brown, light brown and peach, three colours only.

Yvonne: Ya, now Fearles insists he is only light brown and not BROWN. LOL!!!

I took alot of chicken rice (hainese chicken rice) with lots of you know....the kicap pekat thing....my daughter turn out to have chao chia skin (sounds like hangus skin). Some said she inherit from her father, some said maybe due to my eating black stuff during pregnancy. Whatever is it, aiya dont' bother lar.....I actually dont' believe the black soy thing, most probably inherit from the parents lar (her father in this case because I'm the fair type). My hubby calls her black pearl, black beauty (pehh..sounds like a horse).....and yeap, no regret.
ACtually boys with tan skin more hensem ma...remember louis koo? tell your son about that okie?
