Nathalie's Gourmet Studio @ Solaris Dutamas

Sometime in last month end, our boss sent us for a team -building course, usually those course things is something boring, but he came out with an idea, which is sent all of us for "A" cooking course!

The place he choose no other than Nathalie's Gourmet Studio!! We had it on a working day, we leave an hour early to go for the course. Ya, you can imagine after finish, it is almost 10pm!!

Fully equip kitchen, this is the place where we learn our cooking & baking! Cool ya.

We had some tea and coffee, while waiting for my other colleagues to arrive.

restaurant area, the table setting is for all of us, we ate the food that we cooked! LOL!

Since it is a team building course, we divided to three groups, each groups got 6 person. We rotate to do the task, very interesting.

Below pictures are from my colleague, he took quite a lot pictures, but it is not so nice for me to post up here with all my colleagues and boss face in the pictures. :P

Dough kneading ! Oh..i don't know how to knead and that is why i don't know how to bake!! I only can go for "cheating and easy way".

while we all sit outside at the restaurant, the Chef and also our teacher, Nathalie is preparing our dinner and to make it look more presentable.

not only that, we got a scoop of vanilla ice cream to complete this dessert.

YES! We learn how to make that vanilla ice cream too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh ya, we bake this French Baguettes too! I love this so much!
Eat it with salted butter, it just perfect!!

Ok, i only know how to eat, ask me to bake....hmmmmmmmm......

We had a good time, it is really a good and interesting team building course and we all enjoy eating the food that cooked by us too! This is my very first baking and cooking class, it sure give me a very good experience.

Sanuki Udon @ Taman Desa

Another back dated post.

I know i need to catch up with my blogging and blog hopping.

I just get to know this small and cozy place, Sanuki Udon recently. The owner, Mr. Seiji Fujimoto is the same owner that i blog in previous post @ Japanese BBQ. After google and i only found out this place actually quite wellknown and already been there for few years and many of my friends been there before too!

First time, i went with my hubs and two boys for dinner. We reached there around 8pm+, all tables were occupied, we have to wait for a while for the table. We took some pictures that night, but pictures not so good, because the light in the restaurant was a bit dim.

I went again with Barb on 10/7 which is a day after B-E-R-S-I-H (9/7). It was Barb first time trying the udon, we went for brunch, we are "kiasu" and reach there as early as 11.30am!!! They just open, and we are their first customers!

Original Soup Udon, yummy!!

I am not a udon person, i prefer ramen more than udon, but this, i give two thumbs up. The noodles texture is good, very different from what we it outside or other place. You can just "slurp" it, sometime too fast, it will "accidently" slip down to your throat! LOL I love the soup base, very very nice!

Karaage, this is very nice.

After our satisfy brunch, we brought the kids to the nearby playground and let them play. The weather was good, windy and gloomy, kids enjoy themselve very much, keep request us to bring them back there again.

I think "OMG" is commonly use in our daily life, anything, we will go "OMG, OMG". You agree?

Lately when i said "OMG" i have to careful, i make sure i use the correct term. I use to said "oh my god!".

One day, my boy told me, "mummy, you know you cannot said "oh my god", you got to said "oh my gosh" or "oh my goodness", because you cannot use "god's" name! @..@

Oh ya, my two boys are in a christian kindy, that's why they learn a lot from there. :)
